About CreatorKit

CreatorKit is a collection of 30 free tools for YouTube and Instagram creators — 24 for YouTube, 6 for Instagram. Every tool exists to solve one specific, repetitive task in the process of making and publishing content: pulling a thumbnail, formatting a description, checking what tags a competitor used, estimating earnings, writing a caption, or picking a giveaway winner.

Nothing here requires an account, adds a watermark, or hides the result behind a paywall.15 of the 30 tools run entirely in your browser — nothing you type or upload is ever sent to a server. The other 15 call an external service to do their job: seven (the title, hook, thumbnail-text, tag, and script-outline generators, plus the Instagram caption and Reel-hook generators) call a paid AI model to generate writing suggestions, and eight more (tag extraction, channel ID lookup, comment picking, video stats, trending videos, keyword research, outlier detection, and channel audits) read public data from YouTube's own Data API.

We also publish a small set of creator guides — practical answers to questions that come up before you'd open one of the tools, like what size a YouTube thumbnail actually needs to be, or how much YouTube really pays per 1,000 views. Where a tool makes an estimate rather than reading a hard fact — like the Money Calculator's revenue ranges — we try to say plainly where that estimate comes from and where it can be wrong, rather than presenting a guess as a certainty.
